Workers Clean Oil near Belle Chase

 

Workers continue to clean oil from a section of the Mississippi River shoreline near the ConocoPhillips Alliance Terminal in Belle Chasse, La., Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008. The workers were using mops known as pom-poms, which only absorb hydrocarbons such as oil and other petroleum products.
